As Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, serves as Associate Director of Operations of the Requirements Development and Management (RDM) office, within Strategic Investment Management (SIM). The incumbent shares fully in the direction of all phases of SIM RDM under the purview of the Director for SIM RDM.
What You'll Do
- →Major duties may include but not limited to: Oversees the daily operations of the unit, ensures agency policies and priorities are being followed; develops performance standards; and evaluates work performance of subordinates.
- →Planning and deploying management approved strategic initiatives and organizational processes throughout RDM in order to successfully support its mission.
- →Exercises a broad range of supervisory responsibilities over subordinate staff, responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative management services to include transmitting guidance to program managers on policies and procedures covering services.
- →Manages on behalf of VHA, requirements integration at the VA level to ensure VHA maintains an enterprise view of all business requirements.
- →Works with managers and analysts to ensure program management of equipment, government employees and contract supports.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 08:00-04:30p Compressed/Flexible: May be available.
- →Telework: Yes-as determined by the agency policy.
- →Will be required to report to either a VA Facility.
- →Agency/VA approved leased space, or any federal building designated by VA unless an approved exemption is granted.
- →Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
- →This position may be authorized for Virtual Work.
- →Virtual Work eligibility is for current VA employees that are already subject to the return to the in-person work mandate in their current position.
- →Definition of Virtual Work: Employee works outside of original hiring duty station at a VA-owned or leased space.
- →Return to Office (RTO): RTO mandates are in effect and selectees will be required to report to in-person work unless they are approved for an exception or an exemption.
