This position is located with the Office of Integrated Veteran Care in the Network Development Directorate. The incumbent manages program segment functions to provide support to the Program Office mission administering contracted private-sector health care and transaction support; provides advice and analysis related to private-sector health care network; evaluates and ensures compliance with health care program requirements; analyzes and evaluates Program Office operations and issues.
What You'll Do
- →Leads Program Office projects related to private-sector health care and provider data, collaborating with Agency and private industry organizations to collect data, conduct analyses, and report on contracted private-sector health care key performance indicators including provider, staff, and Veteran satisfaction.
- →Provides administrative and technical supervision for accomplishing the work of the unit, including making selections for subordinate positions, resolving employee complaints, serving as deciding official for serious disciplinary actions, and approving training, within-grade increases, overtime, and travel.
- →Develops and leads communications efforts and campaigns to inform stakeholders of private-sector health care provider network data, operations, and related information, targeting Bureau management, field organizations, Agency management, Veterans, Congress, contractors, and private-sector health care organizations.
- →Creates, facilitates, prioritizes, and negotiates resolution of Program Office issues with private-sector health care providers and networks, while considering differing organizational and stakeholder needs and requirements.
