The Supervisory Management and Program Analyst serves as a vital administrative coordinator and evaluator within the Primary Care Service at the West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System. Operating within one of the largest and most complex services in the medical center, the position serves as a strategic administrative partner to the Chief and Associate Chiefs of Primary Care, providing data-driven insights that blend clinical goals with efficient business workflows.
What You'll Do
- →This position ensures safe, efficient patient care by analyzing clinical data, monitoring performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- →It supports operational planning, resource allocation, and protection of patient information.
- →The role also supervises an administrative team, overseeing daily operations, staff performance, hiring actions, and workflow optimization.
- →With delegated authority, it leads the administrative functions that keep the service line running smoothly.
- →Primary Job Duties Conducts ongoing and ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses of clinical and administrative programs.
- →Extracts and validates operational data to prepare reports for leadership.
- →Evaluates performance against VACO, VISN, and Joint Commission standards.
- →Applies statistical methods to resolve workflow and process issues.
- →Recommends data-driven improvements to resource use, space planning, staffing, and equipment priorities.
- →Manages fund control points and tracks service expenditures.
- →Serves as COR for vendor contracts and academic affiliate agreements.
- →Prepares formal responses to congressional inquiries, executive actions, and patient complaints.
- →Coordinates documentation for Peer Reviews, Service Level Reviews, and similar oversight processes.
- →Develops policies, memos, and SOPs aligned with VISN and VACO requirements.
Requirements
