Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), in Fairfax, Virginia; Washington, District of Columbia. Additional Selections may be made across the National Capitol Region through this vacancy announcement. If selected, current ICE employees assigned to approved ICE alternate duty locations may be eligible to retain the alternate duty location in this position.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct formal performance appraisals, provides constructive feedback, resolves personnel issues, identifies training and developmental needs, mentors staff, and makes recommendations to higher-level management on personnel actions such as promotions, disciplinary actions, and awards.
- →Oversee the allocation and utilization of personnel, budget, and equipment, tracking expenditures, addressing resource gaps, and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
- →Serve as an expert analyst conducting comprehensive studies and evaluations to assess and improve the effectiveness of agency programs, operations, and management processes; and advising leadership on best practices for improving program operations.
