In this position, you will work as a member of the Office of Response and Recovery, Recovery Directorate, Individual Assistance Division. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong communication skills, clearly conveying ideas, requirements, and feedback to diverse stakeholders, and is skilled at analyzing data, market trends, and user feedback to inform product decisions. The ideal candidate also has experience leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus.
What You'll Do
- →What will I do in this position if hired?
- →In this position, you will serve as a first level supervisor of staff who perform analytical duties and provide advice to management on productivity and efficiency of agency programs.
- →Typical assignments include: Utilizing strong project management skills to efficiently manage timelines, resources and deliverables.
- →Defining and articulating a product vision aligned with organizational goals.
- →Analyzing data, market trends, and user feedback to inform product decisions.
- →Identifying and integrating significant internal and external program, policies, procedures, practices and systems that may affect the entire agency in the areas of organization, resource management, and business administration.
- →Planning and scheduling work to be accomplished by team by providing the requirements and descriptions of the work to be performed and tracking progress.

- →Every FEMA employee has regular and recurring emergency management responsibilities, though not every position requires routine deployment to disaster sites.
- →All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official position description.
- →Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
