You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Strategy and Future Requirements Office ofCOMMANDER, NAVAL REGION JAPAN . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***
What You'll Do
- →You will oversee the work of both civilian and foreign national personnel in the performance of management and program analyst functions.
- →You will direct and coordinate operations necessary to accomplish the assigned responsibilities of the Strategy and Future Requirements Office.
- →You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust long-term priorities, and prepares schedule for work completion.
- →You will serve as a senior civilian advisor on strategic planning, future (i.e. long-range) planning, existing business processes, process improvement initiatives, metrics analysis, corporate governance and resource and performance management.
- →You will ensure Commander Navy Region Japan's Strategic Plan is in alignment with the strategic plans and direction of higher authority.
- →You will coordinate a variety of initiatives including: Continuous Process Improvement, Corporate Governance, Metrics and Business Coordination, and Integrated Priority List Coordination.
Requirements
- ✓Additional Information Cont: PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ).
- ✓To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
- ✓Military Spouse Preference applicants will be placed at the highest grade for which they have applied and are determined Best Qualified (BQ).
- ✓A BQ military spouse possesses knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies comparable to others who meet the competitive referral criteria for the specific position.
- ✓ICTAPApplicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
- ✓ICTAP candidates must provide copies of all of the following documentation at the time of application: 1) agency notice; 2) most recent performance appraisal; and 3) most recent SF-50 or notification of personnel action that includes position, grade level, and duty location.
- ✓Applicants who do not provide this documentation will not receive consideration as an ICTAP candidate.
