What You'll Do
- →This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary (OS),Office of the Executive Secretariat & Regulatory Affairs, located in Washington, DC).
- →This is a Schedule Policy/Career position.
- →At the full performance level GS-15 the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Provides leadership and management for the Department's regulatory and policy management activities Maintains oversight for programs and projects to ensure adequate and timely accomplishment, adherence to established policies and initiates corrective action as required.
- →Guides the development of strategic planning for Departmental functions related to regulatory affairs and policy management.
- →Advises senior Department officials in the development of regulations and policies.
- →Manages the Departmental regulatory relationship with OMB, the Executive Office of the President, the Federal Register, and other agencies.
- →Provides supervision to the regulatory affairs and policy management staff.
- →Salary Information GS-15: $169,279 - $197,200 per annum. *First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
- →This vacancy may be used to fill additional positions as vacancies become available.
Requirements

- ✓Prohibitions on prohibited personnel practices will be enforced by the Office of General Counsel [or agency equivalent position] and not the Office of Special Counsel.
