The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as Chief of the Manpower Validation Section, Force Structure Branch, Directorate of Resources, Requirements and Strategic Assessment, J8, United States Special Operations Command responsible for developing, coordinating, and synchronizing Special Operations Forces (SOF) manpower requirements and manpower validation.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the USSOCOM J8-Manpower Validation Section, ensuring that manpower requirements.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Keeps employees informed of management goals and objectives, as well as of changes in regulations, policies, and procedures governing the work.
- →Represents the Manpower Validation Section, J8 AMV Branch Chief, and J8 Director, in USSOCOM with a variety of high-level government committees, national forums, and DoD meetings/conferences, focusing on activities to meet the Command's manpower validation and requirements responsibilities and vision.
- →As senior analyst, plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Manpower Validation Sections, ensuring that the Section complies with legal and regulatory requirements in the conduct of manpower studies, process improvement efforts, and resource management.
- →Serves as senior analyst and point-of-contact for assigned current and projected workload and manages manpower or resource management studies and surveys by responding to functional requests, planning projects, monitoring engineering team performance and products, and presenting briefings.
- →Incumbent is responsible to ensure the core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and programmatic view point to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.
