About the Role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Navy Munitions Command Pacific East Asia Division (NMCPAC EAD).
What You'll Do
- →You will plan, direct, organize and control all aspects of logistics operation management programs.
- →You will provide engineering and technical direction to Units and Detachments on all aspects of business management and process/productivity improvement programs and initiatives.
- →You will advise the Commodore, Staff, and Unit and Detachments Commanding Officers/Officers in Charge (CO's/OIC's) on issues associated with facilities and equipment planning within NMCPAC EAD.
- →You will plan, coordinate, and evaluate all NMCPAC EAD logistical actions required to support the Fleet Ordnance Support (FOP) programs throughout the Middle Pacific, Western Pacific, and the Indian Ocean Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- →You will analyze workload execution and provide metrics for measuring workload and inventory management efficiency and accuracy.
- →Establish annual workload requirements for budget formulation and Program Objective Memorandum/Program review data.
- →You will perform special Industrial Engineering studies of the functions, processes, equipment and systems associated with FOS and recommends and oversees implementation and deployment of new systems, equipment, processes and technologies.
- →You will develop financial and budget guidance and execution plans.
- →You will oversee safety program implementation through program managers, at the ISIC and command-level, to maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards across all logistics operations.
- →You will audit and maintain accurate, up-to-date property records, ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding inventory, transfers, and disposals.
Requirements
- ✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTINUED: PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ).
- ✓To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
- ✓ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
- ✓ICTAP candidates must provide copies of all of the following documentation at the time of application: 1) agency notice; 2) most recent performance appraisal; and 3) most recent SF-50 or notification of personnel action that includes position, grade level, and duty location.
