You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DIVISION, MARINE FORCE STORAGE COMMAND (MFSC). of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Deputy director developing goals and scope of long-range plans and projects, studies and evaluations for all aspects of storing combat ready capability sets in order to support and sustain the Expeditionary Force in Readiness.
- →You will identify logistics support requirements for Clothing, individual equipment, tools, and admin supplies, Major end items, such as combat vehicles, tanks, and weapons launchers, and Repair parts and components required to maintain equipment.
- →You will analyze programs and projects to evaluate effectiveness, to identify critical areas and anticipate impact of changes in requirements and resources, and to determine courses of action.
- →You will apply audit principles as it pertains to the receipt, store and issue of military equipment.
- →You will establish operating policies and standards to optimize quality and effectiveness of services, responsiveness to logistical requirements, and utilization of highly specialized and essential skills.
- →You will devise and institute innovative techniques of management and/or technology in order to compete with ever increasing demands for quantity, quality, and complexity of service in the face of diminishing resources.
- →You will apply command structure, missions, programs, and organizational relationships using quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop, manage, and implement studies and analyses of such scope various organizations.
- →You will communicate orally and in writing to present findings, direction, and informational briefings at various levels.
- →You will plan, schedule, and carry out major projects program evaluations, analysis and development projects.
- →You will exercise discretion and judgement in determining whether to broaden or narrow scope of projects and studies.
- →You will provide managerial authority and performs supervisory duties on a continuous basis planning and directs work to be accomplish by personnel, set and adjust short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion or work.
- →You will evaluate performance of subordinate managers, supervisors, team leaders and employees on work and administrative matters.
- →You will identifies developmental and training needs of employees and provides for and/or arrange needed development and training.
- →You will conduct internal and/or external investigations, inquiries, or audits related to national security matters.
