About the Role
About the Position: This position is for a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), AMCOM Logistics Center, AMCOM Field Maintenance Directorate. Serves as Division Chief of assigned area accomplishing work through a group of professional, technical, and support personnel. The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14. Capped at GS-14 step 10.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as deputy or division chief of assigned area accomplishing work through a group of professional, technical, and support personnel.
- →Directs, develops, and/or implements logistics policies, processes, initiatives, and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon or information systems acquisition in the areas of Logistics Support.
- →Develops milestones for projects.
- →Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
- →Evaluates performance of subordinates; gives advice, counsel and/or instruction to subordinates on both work and administrative matters.
- →Develops performance standards.
- →Exercises full authority as a member of the pay pool management, in assessing contribution and preparing statements of duties and experience for Demonstration employees.
