About the Role
About the Position: This position is located within the Department of Logistics, at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
What You'll Do
- →Oversee the procurement processes and controls for use of the Government Purchase Card (GPC).
- →Direct the supply and service support programs provided to military, government civilian, and contractor personnel.
- →Monitor the progress toward implementation of strategic logistics plans.
- →Develop strategic plans and administers and evaluates medical supply programs and functions to ensure overall division mission accomplishment.
- →Oversee the work of subordinate supervisors who perform supply chain management, acquisition, and equipment management functions.
- →Monitor work performance to ensure effective accomplishment of goals and objectives and adherence to policies and directives.
- →Evaluate any adjustments in plans as needed to meet unanticipated projects and changing requirements and funding.
- →Approve the development and maintenance of logistics metrics that highlight program successes and deficiencies and drive strategic continuous process improvement.
