About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Requirement and Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist for the Joint Activities located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Only resumes up to a total of two pages will be accepted.
What You'll Do
- →Identifies risks to the supply chain, approves mitigation strategies, and directs implementation of required changes to procedures.
- →Facilitates the due diligence assessment of the unit’s supply chain to detect, identify, assess, mitigate and exploit risk and/or vulnerabilities to the organization.
- →Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the command’s supply management, equipment management, and transportation programs.
- →Evaluates program effectiveness through review of reports, personal observations, and other means and takes corrective action when appropriate.
- →Validates accuracy of custodial/accountable records through random inspections and recommends process improvement solutions based on trend analysis Develops functional logistics systems specifications and translates functional requirements to technical data processing language.
- →Assigns responsibilities to subordinates, reviews their work, and provides guidance and assistance on technical and administrative matters.
- →Prepares performance standards, serves as the rating official on appraisals, and holds corrective interviews with subordinates.
