About the Role
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC).
What You'll Do
- →Directs the full spectrum of logistics support, sustainment, and lifecycle replacement planning for a global cyber warfighting domain.
- →Oversees the planning, programming, and budgeting for the command’s known and evolving facility requirements, including secure facilities.
- →Manages a diverse team of contracting professionals to procure equipment and services for defensive cyber operations across the enterprise.
- →Supervises the planning, programming, and budgeting for widely varied and multifaceted contracts valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.
- →Exercises the full spectrum of supervisory authority, including performance management, employee relations, and administrative human resource functions.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-15 grade level.
