The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Logistics Manager for the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) with responsibility for analyzing logistics contingency readiness programs and plans, providing advice and assistance to the Squadron Commander, and long-term planning for the squadron capability to support base readiness.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes and oversees the activities of the LRS and provides advice and assistance to the squadron leadership on business processes and performance/efficiency of the squadron.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Directs, coordinates, and oversees work as first level supervisor and through one subordinate supervisor.
- →Represents the installation for wing/squadron logistics readiness issues at higher management-levelmeetings within the organization and at conferences with MAJCOM, HQ USAF, DOD, and other agencies.
