About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the JOINT INTERAGENCY TASK FORCE SOUTH C4I SYSTEMS DIRECTORATE, U.S. SOUTHERN CMD, KEY WEST, FL.
What You'll Do
- →Assigns priorities and tasks through subordinate supervisors to ensure compliance with internal and external suspense and supports of multiple organizations engaged in diverse missions in numerous locations.
- →Assures implementation and administration of regulations governing safeguarding of classified information and systems.
- →Responsible to the Commander/Director for directing the formulation of Command-wide Information Technology (IT), Information Resource Management (IRM), Knowledge Management (KM), and Cyber policies, procedures, and processes.
- →Maintains programs, policies, and procedures that protect and defend the integrity and confidentiality of programs, applications, networks and data.
- →Establishes Command-wide strategies for the development and transition of new IT, IRM, KM, and Cyber technologies and capabilities.
- →Adjusts the IT organizational element structure as necessary to ensure the efficient and effective use of IT assets and personnel to support mission accomplishment.
