What You'll Do

  • Develops, modifies or provides input into division project plans that meet organizational objectives.
  • Identifies measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
  • Leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities.
  • Ensures projects are properly coordinated and integrated into current and future programs to meet objectives monitoring project activities throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Oversees and directs the enterprise's IT portfolios and architects, ensures program alignment, engineers, and monitors performance in support of VA's digital transformation efforts.
  • Serves as the technical authority in the analysis and development of directives for administrative operations as related to the fostering and assuring the efficient operation of the office through proactive management and effective problem resolution.
  • Oversees and directs the enterprise's IT portfolios and architects, ensures program alignment, engineers, and monitors performance in support of VA's digital transformation efforts.
  • Analyzes and interprets discussions and briefs the Executive Director on the opinions and trends which the incumbent can identify.
