You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the Windows/Internet Information Services (IIS)/Web Applications Support Branch (10914), IT Infrastructure and Operations Division (1091), in Information Technology and Cybersecurity (ITACS) Office (109) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide first level supervision and management/oversight of work accomplished to a subordinate staff composed of civilian and contractor personnel.
- →You will manage and oversee the maintenance of the hardware and software installed on the various networks at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) or operates as a standalone.
- →You will manage and oversee the support and assistance provided to network users and other administrators for various problems.
- →You will manage the configuration and installation of new equipment for use in the various systems in operation on the networks or standalone.
- →You will manage the network monitoring tools used to monitor status of servers and equipment, the research and resolution of hardware and software issues, print share management, access to various shared areas and zones, and Active Director
