This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
What You'll Do
- →Performs as an expert Information Technology (IT) Specialist working in a number of specialty area to include policy and planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network services, and data management.
- →Performs the full range of activities relating to IT project management to include in-garrison support, trip site support, and continuity of operations locations.
- →Performs strategic planning, capital planning and investment control; resource management; architecture and infrastructure planning and management; technology insertion/modernization.
- →Serves as an expert advisor on policy development, coordination, and implementation.
- →Performs work involving the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the WHMO Command and Control Network.
- →Performs first-line supervisory duties: plans, prioritizes, and schedules work.
- →Assigns tasks based on organizational priorities.
- →Addresses and deconflicts subordinate performance concerns.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-14 grade level.
