This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA EMERGING TECHNOLOGY DIRECTORATE - REQS AND PROJECT ENGINEERING SUPPORT DIVISION.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as Chief of an Emerging Technology Division, performing strategic planning, programming, and budgeting for new programs.
- →Responsible for oversight of the execution of engineering programs/tasks.
- →Analyzes work products for internal consistency, standardization, integration, quality assurance, and compliance with applicable DOD plans, policies, procedures, specifications, and standards.
- →Supervises several military and civilian personnel and establishes clear expectations for personnel assigned, effectively delegates work, monitors progress, and motivates employees.
- →Keeps abreast of innovative state of the art computer technology and evaluates new computer technology for applicability to and for insertion into information systems.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-15 grade level.
