This position is located in the Office of Information and Technology, End User Services, End User Operations. The Supervisory IT Specialist provides leadership and resource management (finance, human, and acquisition), leading the development and implementation of strategies required to manage IT End User Operations. They oversee the day-to-day operations, services, maintenance, and security for all customers within the immediate geographic area.

- →Major Duties: Coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities.
- →Manages the package of support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of systems and components.
- →Conducts evaluations of an IT program or its individual components to determine compliance with published standards.
- →Performs needs analysis to identify opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
- →Reviews and conducts audits of information technology (IT) programs and projects.
- →Develops methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
- →Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Tour of duty may be subject to change based on organizational needs.
- →Compressed/Flexible: As determined by the Agency Policy Telework: VA supports the use of telework as a way to help attract and retain talented individuals in public service, increase worker productivity, and better prepare the agency to operate during emergencies.
- →This position may be authorized for telework.
- →Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
- →Adhoc telework may be authorized at management discretion.
