About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, California. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the technical IT (Network) expert, authority, and advisor for the Military Treatment Facility and its branch clinics.
- →Plans, directs, and oversees the total breadth of activity required to ensure the continuous availability of the MTF's network infrastructure.
- →Ensures the organization's network is operational to provide a wide range of services that are vital to the accomplishment of mission requirements.
- →Develops organizational policies and procedures for implementation of guidance from higher-level authority.
- →Defines and distributes new regulatory requirements to subordinate commands (branch clinics) and advises on the development and compliance of command directives, policies, and procedures relative to IT operations.
- →Establishes clear performance expectations and standards for the team, ensuring that goals and objectives are measurable, achievable, and aligned with organizational priorities.
- →Oversees the IT team's customer support workload to ensure efficient and effective support.
