About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with the Innovation & Technology Directorate, J7. What You'll Do
- →Serve as the Enterprise Intelligence Systems Architect and Chief of the Development and Integrations Division responsible for developing, leading, coordinating and overseeing the integration of information processing systems.
- →Ensure acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with the organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
- →Oversee personnel in the areas of systems architecture, information technology, network operations, data capture, and data fusion and visualization.
- →Plan, organize and conduct complete portions of a variety of complex system architecture designs and visualization strategies where subject data may be very difficult to fuse and analyze.
- →Analyze, interpret and oversee the quality control of multi-discipline and multi-classification systems and data to identify problems and recommend efficient and cost-effective IT solutions.
- →Develop innovative approaches to multi-discipline data fusion and systems integrations to include providing lessons learned and recommending improvements to data integration and dissemination.
- →Provide expert systems architecture and data interoperability advice and establish policy on the collection, processing, and dissemination systems affective systems and support to and from JIATF South, USSOUTHCOM, and subordinate commands.
- →Provide training on multi-level security and multi-discipline information related topics to service and interagency personnel.
- →Exercise day-to-day supervision over assigned personnel to include distributing work assignments, establishing workload priorities, conducting training, and reviewing work of subordinates.
