About the Position: Serves as a District technical expert, responsible for creative design and technical review of multi-million dollar projects for the US Army, US Air Force, NATO, and other federal agencies.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as Engineering Division point of contact for Architect/ Engineer (AE) Design Management support.
- →Section oversees all pre-award activities for AE design contracts and post award contracting officer representative (COR) duties.
- →Manage the district's AE base contracts (combined value over $1B in capacity), to include new and follow on acquisitions.
- →Performs full supervisory duties: plans, assigns, and reviews work; manages performance, staffing, budget, training, and discipline; ensures EEO compliance, resolves complaints, and maintains safety and security standards.
- →Assists Project Managers with Schedules of Services, Scopes of Work, fee negotiations, prepares design criteria, and provides technical expertise and estimates for Architect-Engineers and Host Nation agencies.
- →Represents District at meetings and conferences, makes professional presentations, and consults with USACE Centers of Expertise on complex technical problems beyond standard literature and practices.
