This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Supervisory Engineer or Architect with direct responsibility for field engineering work associated with the construction program in the assigned geographical area.
What You'll Do
- →Supervises, plans, directs, organizes, assigns, coordinates, and reviews the work of subordinate employees engaged in construction operations, contract administration, technical engineering, and administrative work.
- →Manages the Corps Quality Assurance program for all construction work that takes place within the assigned geographical area.
- →Has full authority to represent the Contracting Officer to provide the necessary contractual direction.
- →Assumes full responsibility for administering the District's Safety Program for the Resident Office and all assigned projects.
