About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade located at Fort Meade, Maryland.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a Supervisory Cyber Planner for the 780th Millitary Intelligence Brigade.
- →Develops and maintains Cyber Warfare contingency and crisis action plans to support Full-Spectrum Operations.
- →Supervises a subordinate staff.
- →Participates in the development of detailed Operations Orders, Operations Plans, Warning Orders, and Fragmentary Orders supporting Warfighters.
- →Integrates and synchronizes Cyberspace Operations Effects with the Joint Warfighter’s plan of action.
- →Uses Joint, Service, and Inter Agency planning and operational experience to conduct strategic, operational and tactical level planning in support of Full Spectrum Operations.
- →Develops and maintains contingency and crisis action plans.
- →Conducts specialized research and development of software and/or hardware utilized in direct support of Army and DoD requirements.
- →Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
- →Collaborates with Cyber operators to identify and levy requirements for information, collection and analysis.
- →Collaborates with Cyber Operators, Analysts, and Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT and E) Engineers to gain access and technical information to meet planning objectives.
- →Facilitates the timely and accurate identification of staff responsibilities in connection with the execution of Cyberspace Operations support actions.
- →Through regular review of message traffic, intelligence information, data analysis, and from other sources of information, identifies intelligence gaps, then assists in the development of operational programs.
