About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located within the Intelligence & Security Directorate, J2. What You'll Do
- →Serve as Chief of the Tactical Support Group (TSG) Office responsible for collection, analysis, production, and dissemination of Communications Intelligence (COMINT) to the support counter-narcoterrorist (CNT) intelligence community.
- →Orchestrate, plan, and implement the National Security Agency's National-to-Tactical Gateway signals intelligence architecture for JIATFS South as well as the integration with the TSG's collection, analysis, and reporting responsibilities.
- →Serve as the Senior COMINT Specialist and Cryptanalyst for the Intelligence and Security Directorate providing actional intelligence support to the CNT intelligence community, intelligence watch, and analytical cells.
- →Maintain liaison with personnel assigned to other DoD and Law Enforcement intelligence organizations and agencies to enhance or de-conflict Sandkey analysis and reporting.
- →Technically and administratively supervise a permanent staff consisting of Intelligence Specialists, temporary Reserve, active duty enlisted, and officer intelligence specialists.
- →Provide direct supervision, scheduling, training, evaluation, discipline, and workload overview to assigned personnel.
- →Coordinate and implement policies and procedures for TSG watch assignments, focus of daily collection efforts, production goals, and reporting criteria.
