The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Director of Operations and first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the SOCOM Cryptologic Office Operations, Policy and Technology Elements. Provides Operations and Policy Oversight for the Special Operations Force (SOF) Targeting Training Element (STTE).
What You'll Do
- →Duties: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the USSOCOM J2 Cryptologic Office Policy and Technical Elements ensuring that Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) workload complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Represents USSOCOM J2 Cryptologic Office with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Serves as USSOCOM SIGINT Subject Matter Expert.
- →Directs SOF cryptologic enterprise foreign partner engagement activities in accordance with existing NSA Foreign Engagement (FE) and USSOCOM Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO) policies and procedures.
- →The incumbent is responsible to ensure the core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and programmatic view point to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.
