THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (Title 32), Position Description Number D2394P01 and is part of the OK 137th Special Operations Wing, Oklahoma Air National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →This position is located in Air National Guard (ANG) specializing in Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) at the Oklahoma ANG Only.
- →The purpose of this position is to provide and/or administer advanced technical training, organizational readiness, and mission preparation/execution for a group of Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operators.
- →Incumbent performs mission execution through a variety of staff functions including Airborne ISR Operations, Standardization and Evaluation, Training, Scheduling, and Weapons and Tactics.
- →Assists in testing, experimenting, and developing new methods, processes, and combat tactics to enhance the use of a weapon system, as well as executing all the work of the function.
- →Incumbent provides accurate and timely analysis critical to the effectiveness of unit operations and sustainment of unit resources.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Establishes work schedules and daily duty assignments.
- →Provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignments in consideration of skills and qualifications, mission requirements, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) objectives.
- →Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards.
- →Explains performance expectations to employees and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses.
- →Holds employees responsible for satisfactory completion of work assignments.
- →Appraises subordinate workers performance, ensuring consistency and equity in rating techniques.
- →Recommends awards when appropriate and approves within-grade increases.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements.
- ✓You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
