What You'll Do
- →Provides assignments, guidance, and appraises work of subordinate DLA personnel, direct and integrates work of staff performing enterprise acquisition and logistics management functions.
- →Serves as Chief of the Integrated Supply Team (IST), planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and integrating contracting, supply planning, technical, and quality assurance functions.
- →Manages and directs professional and administrative personnel in procurement of centrally managed items supporting DoD and foreign military sales (FMS) (or equivalent) requirements.
- →Serves as Contracting Officer on actions exceeding subordinate warrant limitations, provides guidance and resolves issues requiring interpretation of procurement policy for unusual procurements.
- →Directs team operations requiring knowledge of regulations, legislation, policies, procedures, and applies analytical principles to manage, resolve problems, and improve processes.
- →Monitors the collection, consolidation, and analysis of metrics/data, and develops/presents recommendations to improve program effectiveness, efficiency, and customer service.
