This position is located with Business Operations, Chief Information Office. The Chief Information Office (CIO) develops and manages the Information Technology (IT) systems, applications, operating environments, and resources for USDA's Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) Mission Area, which includes the Forest Service. What You'll Do
- →Proactively develops partnerships with key stakeholders, other agencies, and USDA to provide the best value in the services and solutions developed and offered by the CIO.
- →Advises executive leadership regarding strengthening and improving of programs, service delivery, and modernization.
- →Responsible for the annual review of operations and cost allocations.
- →Sets performance standards for supervisors and other employees in the organization.
- →Provides trusted advice on the relationship of major policy decisions, proposed changes from legislation or regulation on IT delivery, capital planning, budget or staffing levels and their impact on program objectives.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
