This position is located in the Security Unit, Executive Technology, Office of the Executive Secretariat, Office of the Secretary of State (S/ES-ET). You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Infosec) responsible for Supervising a team of Information Management Specialists. Note: the position's official title is Information Technology Specialist (Infosec).
What You'll Do
- →Resolves Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and provides a robust IT cybersecurity strategy and plans that supports on demand access to information.
- →Works in conjunction with other IT Specialists to ensure that customers are provided with well -managed, high performing infrastructure hosting services that are tailored to customer needs.
- →Directs a staff of professional and technical personnel and plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short- and long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- →Maintains liaison with customer officials to ensure that the services being provided meets customer requirements.
- →Ensures the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of IT systems through full compliance with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) of 2014, related NIST standards, and Department security policies and standards.
