This position is located with the Chief Information Office. Incumbent leads by example in defining a customer service culture to ensure that whenever possible the CIO staff cultivates partnerships with customers in developing solutions to meet their needs and serves as a Branch Chief over one of the Information System Security Teams. What You'll Do
- →Overseeing, directing, and coordinating the efforts of team members.
- →Providing specific technical and implementation guidance, leadership, and technical expertise to Information Security Specialists.
- →Assures the successful accomplishment of assigned planning and implementation efforts which include negotiation of technical issues, resolution of schedule and programmatic issues, and coordination to include briefings at all agency echelons.
- →Performs the technical planning functions necessary for the execution and integration of efforts by analyzing assignments and tasks, recommending program objectives and alternatives, and developing plans, subprojects, and operating schedules.
- →Serves as the FS Alternate Information Systems Security Program Manager (ISSPM).
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.

- ✓New USDA supervisors must successfully complete all components of the required new supervisory training program before the end of their probationary period.
