Department of Health & Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, CCIIO, Division of Marketplace IT Operations (DMIO), Marketplace Innovation and Technology Group (MITG). As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, GS-2210-14, serves as the Deputy Division Director directing staff responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the CMS information technology systems and maintaining the readiness of systems operations.
What You'll Do
- →Supervising, directing, and coordinating federal employees and contractors responsible for Marketplace IT operations, system maintenance, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- →Planning work, assigning priorities, evaluating performance, resolving employee concerns, and identifying training needs to support efficient Division operations.
- →Directing Marketplace IT operations and troubleshooting complex network, application, service performance, security, and system availability issues through resolution.
- →Leading critical IT projects through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and governance activities in accordance with CMS standards.
- →Managing project scope, schedules, risks, budgets, resources, quality, performance, and earned value activities to support successful system integration and delivery.
- →Overseeing contractor performance, reviewing deliverables, conducting quality assurance, and directing improvements to applications, databases, infrastructure, and security.
- →Advising senior leadership on operational readiness, system availability, reliability, and mission-critical issues affecting Marketplace systems and services.
