This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS), Data and Systems Group (DSG). As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, GS-2210-15, You will lead Medicaid and CHIP state systems, including MMIS, HITECH, and eligibility, while providing executive leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction for national health IT initiatives.
What You'll Do
- →Serving as Director overseeing the planning, coordination, and management of Medicaid state systems, including MMIS, HITECH initiatives, and integrated eligibility determination systems.
- →Collaborating with and business owners to review change requests for each system, establishes priorities, and ensures that requirements are within the contract scope of work.
- →Analyzing, monitoring, and guiding the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the MMIS operations and certification processes.
