About the Role
This position is located in the Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA), Human Resources Division (HRD). As the Chief of the Talent Acquisition Branch the incumbent is responsible for the management of a broad array of Agency-wide human resources functions, projects, and programs related to classification, staffing, personnel action processing, and outreach and recruitment. This is a 1 year detail/temporary promotion. This assignment may end earlier or be extended based on the manager's needs.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the internal oversight, direction, and administrative management of the Talent Acquisition Branch.
- →Assist management officials, customers, and other stakeholders in developing workforce and succession plans, procedures, methodology, criteria, etc. to execute the Agency’s recruitment and placement programs.
- →Collaborate with the Chief Human Capital Officer and other key management officials to analyze and resolve human capital issues and areas of concern.
- →Provides senior level, authoritative advice and guidance to establish and implement strategic human resources plans and strategies to meet FNCS goals and priorities.
- →Develops, implements, and coordinates procedures, processes and ensures regulatory compliance for human capital program initiatives.
