About the Role
Serves as the Supervisory Human Resources Specialist for the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Guides and manages the overall provision of Talent Management Services, policies, and programs for bureau domestic and overseas locations.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for directing managing, and overseeing civil service recruitment, staffing, foreign and civil service classification, performance management, training, and organizational development.
- →Responsible for formulating strategies for meeting the accomplishments of Bureau goals and objectives as it relates to staffing and personnel resource requirements in support of HR programs and policies.
- →Serves as the principal liaison and works collaboratively with the Office of Talent Services to ensure the Bureau goals and objectives are met; conveys legal and regulatory guidelines to Bureau management officials.
- →Provides supervision and direction to subordinate HR Specialists located in EAP/EX/HR.
- →Plans work to be accomplished by staff, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work; approves leave requests.
- →Responsible for planning, distributing, scheduling, controlling, coordinating, and reviewing work for the Bureau in accordance with established priorities and to meet organizational goals.
