About the Role
About the Position: The Military Entrance Processing Station plays a vital role in maintaining the nation's military might by ensuring that each new member of the Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force & Coast Guard; meets the high mental, moral & medical standards required by the DoD & the military services. Every MEPS represents state of the art in testing, examining & processing applicants for enlistment into the Armed Forces. This will be a permanent position.
What You'll Do
- →Direct administrative personnel involved in the processing of military service applicants.
- →Provide training on various topics to stakeholders and subordinate staff.
- →Maintain applicant records to ensure the safekeeping of personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI).
- →Distribute mission focused work assignments to subordinate staff to maintain efficient operations.
- →Evaluate employee performance to support employee development and accountability.
- →Conduct inspections to ensure applicant processing accuracy, file compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- →Coordinate between multiple sections to ensure processing is completed within standards.
- →Make recommendations on initiatives to improve military processing functions
