The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the 48th Rescue Squadron Human Performance and Optimization (HPO) program.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, directs, and validates the activities of HPO specialists, ensuring that training complies with legal and regulatory requirements, correlates to industry standards, and meets customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management for HPO program.
- →Represents the unit with a variety of installation and functional area organizations, and works on special projects as directed.
- →The incumbent oversees the training of the tactical athlete in the areas of physical therapy, dietetics, social work, and psychology.
- →Develops and/or revises progressive training materials in accordance with established HPO program objectives.
