The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Health System Specialist to the Associate Director of Resources within the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC). The FHCC is larger than just a single facility, but rather a system of facilities throughout northeastern Illinois and southern Wisconsin which provide medical and dental services to U.S. Military Veterans, Recruits, Active Duty, and eligible beneficiaries.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Serves as subject matter expert in healthcare administration relating to the implementation and execution of resource and operations initiatives, programs, and projects under the Associate Director for Resources.
- →Performs critical program review and analysis across a broad spectrum of issues such as strategic planning, organizational structure, fiscal efficiencies, and personnel impacts.
- →Provide technical and administrative guidance and assistance in various functional areas and augmenting the effective utilization of the Associate Directors time and expertise.
- →Responsible for supporting facility strategic plan development and implementation.
- →Works with Executive Leadership Team support staff in assigning, reviewing and updating overall facility strategic planning goals Conducts analytical studies on operational processes, issue topics or related special projects that affect administrative and resource operations.
- →Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
