The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to health care management officials at the De Moines, IA, Veterans Hospitals, by analyzing, evaluating, advising on and/or coordinating health care delivery systems and operations. The position renders advice on operational policies and assures these policies are coordinated with, and in support of, field operations.
What You'll Do
- →***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Major duties include, but are not limited to: Directs administrative programs supporting human resources, security, operations, logistics, manpower and financial management, information technology, and public affairs/strategic communications.
- →Establishes organizational goals; develops and executes plans; and formulates, defends, and justifies personnel and resource requirements.
- →Provides expert guidance, sets performance standards, and conducts evaluations.
- →Serves as the primary point of contact for authoritative administrative policies, procedures, and requirements.
- →Leads organizational inspections and staff assistance visits, identifying noncompliant areas and providing corrective guidance.
- →Conducts continuous reviews and analyses to assess organizational performance, resource effectiveness, and alignment with program objectives, budgets, schedules, and priorities.
- →Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements
