This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as Veterinary Practice Manager and Senior Administrator for a multi-disciplined, tiered veterinary center (VETCEN) in the National Capital Region under Veterinary Readiness Activity, Fort Belvoir (VRA, FB).
What You'll Do
- →Provide health care management support through research, analysis, advisory, evaluation, consultation, and coordination of health care delivery services, systems and operations.
- →Develops, implements, improves, and manages Veterinary operating programs.
- →Responsibility includes developing, evaluating and adjusting current and new health care systems to maximize the utilization of the veterinary center for the care of Military animals.
- →Evaluate complex issues relative to the management of health care delivery systems, and recommends improvements in compliance with policies and procedures.
- →Assess the efficiency of operations for a variety of programs, to include mission accomplishment, quality and quantity of standards, procedures, and compliance.
- →Advise Leadership on veterinary health care delivery systems.
