About the Position: This position is located within the Director of Surgery Department of Preoperative Nursing, Sterile Processing at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Develops business and marketing strategies and plans.
- →Ensures the timely review, analysis, and adjustment of marketing strategies, plans, and programs to meet the organization’s needs and the changing market conditions.
- →Recommends and coordinates facility improvements including construction, renovation, and purchase of equipment.
- →Initiates requests for furniture and other quality of life improvements in workspaces.
- →Assists in the coordination and provision of educational opportunities in the assigned department for a wide array of students.
- →Represents the division/department at professional meetings and conferences as requested.
- →The incumbent conducts recruiting and hiring- identifies recruitment sources, assesses and interviews candidates, and recommends/selects hiring, promotions.
- →The incumbent is responsible for the full range of supervision of general schedule, contract and enlisted personnel, including assigning work, providing technical oversight, writing Performance Appraisal Rating for all GS employees.
