About the Role
About the Position: This position is located a Fort Riley, Kansas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide guidance and advice on all critical subject areas within patient administration areas of responsibility.
- →Develop solutions to complex health information management support issues and presents final actions or recommendations.
- →Advise and consult hospital staff on patient administration issues, to include patient policies, eligibility, patient management, accountability, patient disposition, special category patients, and special circumstance patients.
- →Ensure proper execution within the boundaries of policies and programs.
- →Review performance evaluations made by subordinate supervisors on their employees.
- →Take appropriate action to ensure the military treatment facility (MTF) complies and implements administrative activities through various committee actions.
- →Review publications, regulations, bulletins, and other media of an informative, directive, or regulatory nature to ensure current procedural requirements and application of benefits are disseminated.
