This position is located at Phoenix Indian Medical Center, Division of Information Technology, Centralized Appointment Center, Phoenix, AZ. The purpose the position is to assure an efficient and accurate system of the Centralized Appointment Center; incumbent provides support and technical assistance to staff by evaluating, analyzing and coordinating the operations of the Appointment Center. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for continuous quality improvement duties such as, develop, implement, and maintain internal quality control system to measure effectiveness of the appointment center, establish and maintain production control to evaluate quantity and quality of workload accomplishments.
- →Conduct operations analysis and improvement duties such as, compile data and prepare reports to review internal process and proposes improvements to promote efficiency and cost savings, monitor routine activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, conduct complex research of determining eligibility of patients, patient registration and billing to resolve discrepancies.
- →Exercises delegated authority to make preliminary determinations in cases of questionable eligibility and third-party liability.
Requirements

- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
