This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), Division of Analysis & Networks (DAN). As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, you will provide leadership and executive direction for implementing assigned programs, oversee the development and implementation of data analytics, stakeholder networks and targeted communications and outreach strategies.
What You'll Do
- →Leads and manages all day-to-day operations of the Division, including staff, budgets, and priorities, to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with agency goals.
- →Oversees national learning programs designed to accelerate the widespread adoption of innovative healthcare payment and delivery models that improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- →Develops and evaluates large-scale, data-driven quality improvement initiatives at the national level, using information from claims, medical records, surveys, and digital platforms to measure performance and drive program improvements.
- →Consults and collaborates with federal/state agencies, providers, insurers, and clinical experts to gather insights and co-develop new or improved healthcare payment and delivery model concepts.
- →Coordinates with senior HHS, CMS, OMB, Congress, and White House officials on alternative payment models, payment policy, and recoupment, and serves as a key advisor to executive leadership.
