This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for STEM Positions, Cyber Security and Related Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Director of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) exercising full authority for management and operation decisions related to engineering and environmental activities, housing and overall DPW logistical support of an Army Installation.
What You'll Do
- →Direct the work of an organization that is responsible for compliance with all applicable environmental, natural, cultural, and archaeological federal, state and local laws.
- →Serve as a key manager, providing advice and assistance to the Garrison Commander, and top management officials of installation and tenant activities.
- →Oversee the administration and management of the base support contract for engineering, housing, and logistical activities.
- →Administer the contracts for architecture and design, engineering, housing and logistical activities.
