You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION, INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
What You'll Do
- →You will establish internal division policies and operating procedures and determine priorities.
- →You will lead the development of program requirements for all Air Systems Group workload.
- →You will develop plans and obtain funds for acquisition of facilities, test equipment, and software needed to more effectively conduct the Air Systems Integration Division work and to effect economies of operation.
- →You will be responsible for the staffing of all positions within the Air Systems Integration Division.
- →You will actively identify and pursue risk mitigation actions and secure organizational support as required.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
- ✓Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
