If selected as the Administrative Services Director (ASD). You would be responsible for managing technical and policy activities in the functional areas of procurement, architectural and engineering services, personal property, and facilities.
What You'll Do
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for administrative and technical direction of approximately one hundred professional, administrative, and support employees.
- →Participates in the formulation and administration of broad plans and objectives for administrative management services.
- →Directs the disposal of surplus and unserviceable property and include a maintenance and inspection program to ensure the safe operating conditions of MRP vehicles.
- →Directs a comprehensive program for the acquisition, utilization, maintenance and disposal of real property.
- →Directs complex procurement operations that support nationwide and international program activities.
- →Manages the acquisition, disposition, utilization, maintenance, and accountability of personal property, including motor vehicles.
- →Provides overall policy, direction, and management for the design and construction of varied types of facilities of Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.
- →Responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs for printing, distribution and mail for the Marketing and Regulatory agencies.
- →Oversees the Division's development and utilization of work measurement systems and proper administration of the agency's performance management system.
