About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. What You'll Do
- →Develops and manages firefighter and emergency response training programs and certifications.
- →Supervises firefighting, rescue, hazardous material, and medical emergency operations.
- →Oversees fire station operations, personnel, equipment readiness, and safety compliance.
- →Conducts fire inspections, investigations, and safety reviews to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- →Prepares training schedules, reports, operating procedures, and other fire protection documentation.
- →Supervises training staff and coordinates occupational health, safety, and emergency response programs.
